Press Release March 2008, n°05/08 Research & Development Immergas engineers, tests and finalizes all products via its own R&D dept., in co-operation with Sampling, Manufacturing, Assembling, and Testing departments. R&D dept. strives to meet requirements, both from domestic and foreign markets, and develops dedicated appliances, specially calibrated in accordance with prerequisites, Rules and Regulations of the countries where the products are exported. So as to additionally consolidate R&D dept., Immergas strongly invested in reorganization involving both structure and human resources, through: - implementation of a laboratory area fully dedicated to electronic development and engineering;
- structure improvement of “research and combustion testing” and of “hydraulic engineering” laboratories, by way of creating three new state–of-the-art work stations, enhancing laboratory technician activities;
- implementation of work stations destined to “life” testing for new products/components in the “live analysis” area connected to Laboratory dept. assessment rooms.
Furthermore, a new structure, connected to the laboratory dept., is operative; it integrates several central heating systems (radiators, radiating panels, coils, etc.) simulating “real” working situations in a building during the whole year, and allowing for: - development of tune-up and control systems to couple the boiler, improving its operation efficiency and global energy savings;
- enhancement of the phase of verification of “defined” products before their launch on the market, as the area is operative as field testing and allows for constant monitoring of product operation even during Spring, thanks to its ad hoc conditioning system.
